Meet Cassie
Bayside Bridal was founded by Cassie with a clear intention — to gently disrupt the traditional bridal experience and bring back the human touch. After witnessing how rushed and impersonal dress shopping could feel, she set out to create something calmer, more personal, and genuinely centred around the bride.
Cassie’s approach is guided by care, honesty, and connection. She believes finding your wedding dress should feel considered and meaningful, not pressured or overwhelming, and that every bride deserves to feel heard and supported throughout the journey.
Proudly a small, family-run and locally owned business, Bayside Bridal was built with heart and intention. When you choose Bayside Bridal, you’re supporting a local family and a boutique that values community, relationships, and creating truly memorable experiences.
Cassie works closely with every bride, offering calm, one-on-one guidance in a relaxed, unhurried space — ensuring the experience feels just as beautiful as the dress itself.
The Bayside Bridal Experience
Created for brides seeking something more personal — where the experience matters just as much as the dress.
Bayside Bridal offers a calm, considered approach to finding “the one,” designed for women who value connection, comfort, and feeling genuinely supported. Appointments are intentionally unhurried, with honest guidance and thoughtful styling tailored to you.
There’s no pressure and no overwhelm — just a welcoming space where you can slow down, enjoy the moment, and trust the process.
Calm. Personal. Considered.
How It Works

At Bayside Bridal, we operate by appointment only to give you the personalised and intimate experience you deserve. Your bridal journey is special, and we want you to enjoy every moment without distractions. You’ll have the boutique all to yourself, with our full attention to help you find your dream dress. To ensure you don’t miss out, we recommend securing your appointment in advance at a time that suits you within our trading hours.
-
Absolutely! For the best experience, we recommend limiting your entourage to a maximum of four guests. Our showroom is designed to create a cosy, intimate setting that ensures your comfort and allows you to truly enjoy your visit. A smaller group also helps keep the focus on you, reducing the number of opinions and creating a relaxed atmosphere where finding your dream dress feels effortless.
If you’d like to bring a larger party, this can usually be arranged with notice. We understand how special this occasion is and will do our best to accommodate your loved ones so everyone can share in the magic of your moment.
-
The cost of our wedding dresses varies depending on the designer, whether your gown is made to order, custom designed, or chosen from our off-the-rack sample collection.
Made-to-order gowns typically range between $1,750 and $4,000.
Bayside Bridal is proud to be leading the way in accessible custom bridal, offering custom gown options under $3,000 so more brides can enjoy a personalised gown experience without compromising on style, quality or service.
Our off-the-rack gowns are unique sample pieces available for immediate purchase and takeaway. As these gowns have been used for styling appointments, they may show minor signs of wear and are sold in “as-is” condition.
All sample sale gowns are priced at $1,000 or under, offering a significant saving compared to ordering new.
-
For the best experience, please wear seamless, nude underwear/shapewear and a strapless bra if you’re trying on strapless gowns. Most of our gowns are structured and provide built-in support, so a bra is not usually necessary—however, if you prefer to wear one, feel free to bring it along. If you have your wedding shoes, bring them too! And just a little favour—please avoid heavy makeup, lotions, or fake tan to help keep our gowns looking their best. Thank you!
-
Congratulations — you found the one!
Let’s celebrate with bubbly, a Polaroid photo moment, and a little music to mark the occasion.
If you’ve chosen one of our beautiful off-the-rack sample gowns, you’re welcome to take her home with you on the day.
For made-to-order or custom gowns, a 50% deposit is required to commence production. The remaining balance is due once your gown arrives in store, which is typically within 6–8 months, depending on the designer and production timeline.
Flexible payment plans can also be discussed at this stage.
We’ll take your measurements, talk through any customisations, and ensure all details are clearly outlined in writing and confirmed on your invoice before production begins.
-
Each designer we work with has their own sizing chart. When ordering your gown, we take your measurements and select the closest standard size based on these charts.
It’s important to note that all wedding dresses—whether made to order or off-the-rack—will require alterations, as they are not custom-made to your exact body shape. Adjustments will be needed to achieve the perfect fit.
-
We do not accept returns or issue refunds, except in rare cases where the gown is deemed faulty and cannot be repaired. In such instances, a refund will be issued once the gown is returned in its original, unaltered, and unworn condition. We don't use pushy sales tactics; we want you to feel confident in your choice. Our gowns speak for themselves, and we believe you'll know when it's the one!
-
When trying on a sample gown, we typically select a size larger than your usual fit and clip it to give you a better idea of how it will look once altered to your body.
Our gowns are available in a range of sample sizes and we are always working to expand our collection to accommodate all brides. We also believe in fair and transparent pricing, which means there are no additional charges for larger sizes.
-
Alterations aren’t a service provided directly by Bayside Bridal, but we want you in the best hands possible. That’s why the only alterations expert we recommend and trust is Kim Marcel — her extensive experience and incredible workmanship make her the go-to for perfect bridal fits.
Please note that all alteration costs are arranged directly between you and Kim, and are not affiliated with Bayside Bridal.
-
We’re delighted to help bring your dream gown to life, working closely with you, our designers, or Bayside Bridal’s preferred dressmaker for fully custom designs.
Whether you’re dreaming of adding a split, changing the lining colour, adjusting sleeves or straps, shortening the train, or creating something uniquely your own, we’ll guide you through the customisation process.
All customisations are subject to designer or dressmaker confirmation, and once approved, your final details will be clearly outlined in writing before production begins.
