Introducing

The Conscious Collection

Loved once. Chosen again.

Thoughtfully Curated
Each gown is carefully considered before becoming part of The Conscious Collection. We look at condition, quality, style, age and overall suitability to ensure every piece feels beautiful, current and worthy of its next bride.

A Second Love Story
Wedding gowns are made for unforgettable moments — and we believe they deserve more than one. This collection gives preloved dresses the opportunity to be cherished again, rather than sitting unseen in a cupboard.

A More Conscious Choice
The Conscious Collection was created to offer a more sustainable way to shop bridal. By extending the life of quality gowns, we help reduce waste while still giving brides a luxe, considered and meaningful experience.

Handled With Care
From intake to styling appointments, we manage the process with the same care as any Bayside Bridal gown. Each dress is presented beautifully, supported with honest guidance, and matched with brides who truly connect with it.

“Every gown deserves more than a single moment. The Conscious Collection was created to give beautiful dresses a second love story — and brides a more meaningful way to say yes.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Conscious Collection is Bayside Bridal’s curated consignment edit — a considered selection of preloved, sample and once-loved wedding gowns looking for their next bride. It was created to give beautiful dresses a second love story while offering brides a more thoughtful and accessible way to shop bridal.

  • To start the process, simply send through your gown details including the designer, style name or number, size, colour, original RRP, year purchased, alterations, dry-cleaning status and clear photos. From there, we’ll review whether your gown is the right fit for the collection and advise the next steps.

  • We accept wedding gowns that are clean, current, in excellent condition and suitable for our Bayside Bridal brides. As a guide, we generally look for gowns purchased within the last few years, with no major stains, damage or heavy signs of wear. Each gown is reviewed individually.

  • Once your gown is accepted, we agree on a listing price together and complete a short consignment agreement. Your gown is then presented in-store as part of The Conscious Collection, where brides can try it on during appointments. If the gown sells, you receive your agreed portion of the sale.

  • Pricing is based on the designer, original RRP, age, condition, style, demand and any alterations made. Most gowns are listed at a fair preloved price that gives brides strong value while still honouring the quality of the gown.

  • The standard consignment term is 6 months, with the option to review or extend if both parties are happy to continue. If the gown has not sold within the initial term, we may discuss adjusting the price to help increase interest.

  • Yes, gowns that have been worn should ideally be professionally dry-cleaned before being accepted. A dry-cleaning receipt is preferred where available. This helps ensure the gown is beautifully presented and ready for its next bride.

  • Once your gown sells and payment has cleared, we’ll arrange your payout according to the agreed consignment split. We’ll also notify you that your gown has officially found its next love story.

  • Yes. If your gown does not sell by the end of the consignment term and you do not wish to extend, you can arrange collection from Bayside Bridal. Any collection details will be outlined in your consignment agreement.

  • Absolutely. The Conscious Collection is available to try on during bridal appointments at Bayside Bridal in Redland Bay. As these gowns are often one-off pieces, availability can change quickly.

  • No. Conscious Collection gowns are sold as-is and are final sale. Brides are encouraged to carefully check the fit, condition and details of the gown before purchasing.

  • Most wedding gowns require some form of alterations to achieve the perfect fit. Conscious Collection gowns are sold in their current condition and size, so brides should allow for possible alterations after purchase.

  • Because beautiful gowns deserve more than one moment. The Conscious Collection offers a more sustainable, meaningful and accessible way to shop bridal — without compromising on beauty, quality or the Bayside Bridal experience.
